Darrell served in the U.S. Army. When he was diagnosed with a terminal illness, he dreamed of taking his wife and son to Puerto Rico for one final family vacation, but he couldn’t do it alone. Dream Foundation’s Dreams for Veterans program helped make his dream come true.

Darrell shared, “Through your generosity, my family has had the weight of my disease lightened, and our faith bolstered … Most importantly, I see the impact that small kindnesses can have, and that lesson is worth more than I can say.”
